Events for the 2023-2024 Concert Cycle
Spring 2024 Semester
Friday, March 1st, 2024, 8pm EST: "Passions"
The Notre Dame Symphony Orchestra presents its Winter Concert. The program will feature Brahms epic first symphony along with the future NDSO Concerto Competition winners which will make for an exciting and engaging concert.

Friday, April 26th, 2024, 8pm EST: Contemporaries
Featuring such pieces as "Mackey" by Chen Yi and "Appalacian Spring" by Aaron Copland

Fall 2023 Semester
Friday, October 6th, 2023: "Epiques"
Featuring the music of Star Wars, William Tell, and Beethoven 4, this is a concert full of face paced action and powerful sound. Hold on for your life.

Friday, November 17th, 2023, 8pm EST: "La Ville Lumiere"
Featuring select works by Hector Berlioz (The Witches' Sabbath), Igor Stravinsky (Fire Bird), George Gerswhin (An American in Paris), and Gioachino Rossini (William Tell), come prepared to be transported back to a time when Paris was the height of musical expression.

Saturday, December 9th, 2023, 3pm and 8pm EST: "Christmas at Notre Dame"
In collaboration with the Notre Dame Glee Club
Featuring selections from Tchaikovsky's "Nutcracker" Suite, contemporary and classic carol arrangements, and arrangements of popular standards.

Orchestra/Glee Club Tour, December 17th-23rd
For the first time, the University of Notre Dame Symphony Orchestra and Glee Club are taking their holiday program "Christmas From Notre Dame" on tour for the first time!! Concerts range from December 17th-23rd with concerts in Chicago, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and New York City. Proceeds help benefit Philabundace and other food banks throughout America.
